It sure could be an unusual gift. You could either attempt to make it yourself or buy their fav pickle from one of the well known brands in the market, fake it by saying you made it specially for him/her and make them feel nice about it :)...not bad...and it may not need any special occasion, could be just gifted randomly on any day and take him/her by surprise.pretty cool!

if my bf is sitting abroad...and if there is a scarcity of good food...then i will send him a pickle specially made by me....right away :)

i really need to think bout it....coz i have never been in a relationship. :)but still....if i had to gift someone who is close to me....i would probably gift pickle when he is going abroad....kya hai ki...usse tab maa ki bahut yaad aayegi jab jab wo home made pickle khaayega:) 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Good idea! Since there are so many types of pickles, it can almost be like an extension of one's personality. Sweet for the sweet ones, chilli for the naughty ones!
